Origins of our products
- ABB, CBA family, 1989
At the end of the 1980s, circuit breaker analyzers were already on the market. But none were software-driven.
This is exactly what ABB, a world leader in power and automation technology, needed for its Varennes circuit breaker assembly plant. So Zensol created it. Today, this analyzer, the CBA, is one of the most sold products on the world market.
- Hydro-Québec partnership, GEN, 1999
Hydro-Québec, producing, transmitting and distributing power in North America, recognized worldwide, needed an accurate and versatile computer-driven recloser analyzer usable on any recloser.
The GEN-3 and 12 were born.
- Other examples: the SIM-CB6 (1995), the TAP-4 (2007) and the SIM-CB (2008).
