OpenZen-CBV is Zensols all-in-one software platform for advanced circuit breaker testing and condition assessment with the CBV system. It brings test acquisition, processing, calculations, visualization, and result analysis into one professional environment, from field testing to laboratory diagnostics.

The software is designed to exploit the CBVs multi-dimensional diagnostic capabilities, combining Timing, Motion, Vibration, and Dynamic Resistance Measurement. This gives maintenance specialists a broader view of circuit breaker behavior than timing measurements alone, helping correlate electrical and mechanical events during operation.

OpenZen-CBV provides powerful graphical analysis tools including automatic calculations, waveform visualization, signal scaling, zooming, and comparison of recorded signals. Test results can be reviewed in graphical and tabular formats, making it easier to identify changes in breaker behavior and document diagnostic findings.

Zensol also offers an extensive circuit breaker test plan library, with documentation covering hundreds of breaker models from dozens of manufacturers. Advanced users can customize acquisition, calculation, and reporting parameters to suit specific applications. For users who prefer a simpler workflow, Zensol also provides a universal test plan requiring no configuration effort.

Integrated with the CBV platform, OpenZenCBV additionally supports nonintrusive vibration diagnostics, including online monitoring. Combined with the CBV32, Zensol enables highvoltage testing up to 800 kV and beyond, with measurement accuracy down to 5 µs.
