      An On-Load Tap Changer (OLTC) is the hardest-working part of a high-voltage transformer, which enables setting the voltage according to the network load, without interrupting service. The OLTC is responsible for 40% of all transformer failures. Thus, it is essential to maintain OLTC's, because poor maintenance can cause dire consequences and large revenue losses.
